Odysseus / Virtual and Augmented Reality Framework

Odysseus was the rendering framework developed by me during my stay in Augmented Vision group. Odysseus was built from scratch with the main goals of providing:

While the main contribution is an High Quality Real Time 3D rendering engine, Odysseus has some extra goodies such as an Event framework, Physics simulation, Animation support, a scene model that is independent of file format, COLLADA support for read/write, network interfaces to send/receive events, GStreamer integration by offering an Odysseus Sink and Source, several stereo modes, possible to have several views of the same model, support for huge point clouds rendering, etc...

Studio

Studio is a standalone application built upon the Odysseus Framework.
It was developed to fill the needs of Real Time High Quality Rendering for Augmented and Virtual Reality applications. Other than a standalone visualizer, Studio can also be used for iteractive design review sessions. It is easy to load your 3D scene and start changing the appeareance by loading and tweaking our virtual materials based on shaders.

Studio development as currently ended. Some of the relevant features were:

Downloads
